Carnitas La Flor de Michoacán #2

Best carnitas in town, it’s been here for a little over 50 years and my family has been coming for about 20 years. Brought my kids to continue the tradition. Viva Mexico, Viva Carnitas!

Pedí una torta de carnitas pero me echaron casi puro gordo. No me gustó eso ya que su especialidad son las carnitas y espere que fuera mejor. El pan estaba muy rico pero todos los pedazos de gordo arruinaron la torta.
I ordered a carnitas torta but I got a torta with pieces of fat from the carnitas. The torta would have been delicious if it would have actually had pieces of pork meat. The bread was really good and toasted. I expected more since their specialty is carnitas.

This place is a really great, cheap option for tasty grub in Rosarito. The store further south is open early and serves a great breakfast. The huevos con carnitas is BOMB and a big plate. Their tacos are small and delicious and only cost about $ 1.10. They serve coffee (not great) but I usually stick to beer for breakfast ;) super friendly staff as well!

Been to Rosarito many times, been to many taco stands and restaurants. First time here and I have to say that it is delicious! The hubby had the chilaquiles with red sauce and I had the mole enchiladas! This little spot is worth every dollar! Come here and leave with a happy belly :)…Visiten este restaurante, la comida es muy delociosa!

I like carnitas. Carnitas are really great wherever you go even hear the carnitas were great. I think I forgot to mention they do have free Wi-​Fi.

This place has great authentic Mexican food and a large menu with variety. If your in Rosarito do yourself a favor and check it out!

This a café style location that is part of the «flea market» curio shop area next to the El Nido restaurant. It is a great place to get some of the carnitas made famous by their original and bigger location that is in the north part of Rosarito.

Don Prospero Ochoa, el propietario de este lugar es un hombre que se despierta temprano, aborda su camioneta ford clásica color azul cierlo y toma rumbo a la playa para antes de abrir el negocio surfear por almenos una hora, cuando sale de las olas, se baña, se pone el uniforme y a las ocho am a más tardar esta abriendo el restaurante.
Las carnitas la Flor de Michoacán #2 son un referente gastronomico y geografico en Rosarito, la mayoría de los residentes de esta ciudad conocen este restaurante en el que la especialidad como el nombre lo indica son las carnitas pero dejen les cuento que los chilaquiles son simplemente espectaculares, también les recomiendo los burrirtos de carne asada, pero cuidado porque son bastante grandes., es probable que uno sea suficiente para la mayoria de las personas.
En cuanto a la decoración del lugar podemos ver las tablas fish de don Prospero, colgadas y esperando la siguiente ola.
