Santo Mitote Bistro Bar

This place is clean and friendly, we came for appetizers and drinks, liked the atmosphere and it’s the surroundings, located in a nice area.

The Manager was addressed regarding the poorness of the hamburger and he apologized for the problem, and said that he would address the issue later. He wanted us to come back but never suggested an adjustment in the bill because of the poorness of the serving.

So Dell is right – the place is super inviting, and I actually really liked it. It looks like she once came here and had an awesome sandwich (not sure which), but it was good enough for her to return, and then she had a horrible hamburger that was so bad she didn’t complain to get them to fix it – he came on Unilocal and gave them the worst of the worst ratings. I think that’s a little harsh…
The place has an awesome atmosphere, with multiple layers of things to do, from a balcony with a bit of a view to an indoor area that could have some sports on the tv, to an outdoor grill area where they can grill in front of you… A good place to take a date for sure… It’s got good cocktails, and we only had appetizers (mushrooms in red wine sauce and guacamole and salsa), but everything was good and so was the service!
The prices were a little high for the area but not for the quality of the experience (by American standards). I can’t give it a 5 since I didn’t stay for dinner but overall I think it’s a great place to go – not for a traditional meal, just for a good, clean one.
