Great little bakery with lots of pastries both sweet and savory. Each piece was about 15 – 20 pesos. We got some for breakfast a few days during our stay.

Just a quick update because I incorrectly stated in my previous review that the «Muffin Man» our friend José who brings pastries to you on the beach and surrounding condos in the morning procures his goods at Yarita. I asked him about it recently and he said that he no longer uses Yarita’s pastries and has a new bakery that supplies him with what he considers to be a superior product. He felt like Yarita was skimping on the filling in their empanadas and muffins. I believe he is correct — I had a rare (for me) apple empanada a few weeks ago and it was chock full of very tender spicy apples.

A must for us every trip to PV. Their fruit Danishes are incredible. Every morning during my partners early morning run she meets Jose on the street after he’s just picked up his daily order and the pastries are piping hot. She tries not to eat any until she gets back to the condo but rarely succeeds. The shop itself is irresistible and of course very friendly.
