There was a wait to get in to this place so we new it had to be good. The server spoke very good English and was very caring and gave great recommendations on menu favorites. The food was amazing! I don’t eat fish so I ordered the chicken parm. It was one of the best chicken parms I’ve had in my life and I live in the tri state area. Lol. My boyfriend had 2 different shrimps and some other filet. He was in heaven. Everything was so fresh. The live music and the ambiance was perfect. Definitely would return!

Great food. Fun atmosphere and located right on the beach in Old Town. A must try when in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend sharing the Shrimp Boat with a party of four. Choose four types of jumbo shrimp, ceviche and their salad bar. Our favorites were the Poblano, Arriero and the Portuguese style

Great seafood, amazing potions. Nice service :). Garlic butter is a MUST. Oh, and they add extra tequila to your margaritas

Nice location nice restaurant. Great service. Food very average and overpriced, at the end a typical chain type restaurant.

Based on the starter Arreiro Style Octopus I would’ve given it 5 stars(did come back to the restaurant for the second time just for the octopus) but the rest of the food and atmosphere is your above average resort town seafood restaurant in Mexico.

Fresh salad bar, Caesar salad, flavorful shrimp with many different choices of local spices. Great wine as well! Definitely recommend, location is just off the boardwalk, across the bridge in the apartment/condo area. So nice to have a salad with dinner. $$$ price, but worth it! You would pay a lot more in the states. Definitely recommend, not a burrito/taco place, but more authentic, upscale Mexican flavors. YES!

This is a nice place to be at the beach & enjoy some drinks & food. The sunsets are amazing! I have always had excellent service & never a bad meal. Tourists love it. Don’t see many locals. Credit cards ok.

La dirección está mal… ahora está en Olas Altas. La comida excelente y muy buenas bebidas. Un lugar al que debes visitar.

The mango smoothies come with sharp pieces of plastic mixed in. Several pieces in there. This might have been the second time this happened. They gave us a free flan, not really acceptable on any level.

Crab tacos were more like crab egg rolls: deep fried in phyllo dough. The lobster was ok. Maybe a little overcooked but not bad. Good salad bar with fresh vegetables.

My review is based on a appetizer and some wine during sunset. The cabernet was good and the octopus appetizer was nice, hot, good flavor, and rich. Sat in bar area and it was not crowded so service was extraordinary.

Ok, wife and I spent 8 nights in PV and we went nuts trying new places to see who we liked the most. Honestly, this place blew us away with their shrimp boat and their guacamole or even their shrimp stuffed avocado. We always order more than either of us can ever eat because we want to try a little of everything and frankly this was a great night’s worth of food. I wasn’t a fan of the coconut shrimp but man was the stuffed avocado wonderful. The atmosphere was really nice and while I didn’t care for the songs the live singer was singing, it was still quite nice. Also I was shocked how they add a little olive oil to the bowl before adding the rest of the stuff to make guac but wife and I plan to bring the idea home with us. Overall, honestly… wife and I felt this was a far better choice for a nice dinner than many places in town.

Stopped here with our family for lunch right on the beach, we had delicious fish tacos, the coconut shrimp were awesome and the chile rellenos so tasty. The service was great, the people were so friendly and accommodating, we sat overlooking the beach, what a beautiful view. Free wi-fi here too! Visit is a must! You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great meal here as a family. We had a very good time and the food was very good and the staff friendly. The ambience was outstanding and the view amazing. The furniture was really cool. Would definitely recommend eating here and will come back next time I am in punta mita.

If you like eating uncleaned shrimps by all means come here. I got served 3 uncleaned shrimps with the whole vein intact after I complained two times I didn’t even get an apology. When the last waiter brought me the check and I specifically asked for an apology I got a half hearten one and he brought some coffee drink that I left on the table. This is one of the most expensive locations in Vallarta and it is not much to expect quality food and good customer service. They failed at cleaning properly their main dish(Shrimp) and to properly address the issue. If I could give them a negative star I would

Awesome! Super fresh ceviche, the owner was extremely nice and you have a great view of the ocean from anywhere you sit. The restaurant had a great ambience! The candles were a nice touch, the service was quick as well. They even put up with our 1 and 2 year old throwing food all Over the place! It was my wife’s 30th birthday and they brought her a cake and sang and it was great. We will return when we come back to PV! PS my wife is Mexican and we know what good ceviche and seafood should taste like!!! Go here!

The blue shrimp is the reason I would go to Puerto Vallarta on vacation again! Heck, if I knew about the blue shrimp earlier in our trip I would had made sure to go back before we left. And we were staying at an all inclusive resort! The food, the staff, and the atmosphere can’t be beat anywhere!

The staff, views and of course the food was incredible. I highly recommend the Seafood Feast — for two, it was more then enough. The mango margarita’s are also on point! Will return again for sure next time we are visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Two Very entertaining evenings spent at The Blue Shrimp — a wide variety of seafood with some non-seafood dishes for the people that don’t like or can’t tolerate the seafood. The views of the ocean are very pretty and the DJ played a lot of entertaining 80’s and 90’s music.

My husband found this place while out on a run. I really liked the location. It is right on the beach in the Romantic Zone. You get a nice ocean breeze if you sit at one of the booths. I believe they also have beach seating, but then you’ll get bothered even more by the locals(so pick your seat at your own risk). We ordered the guacamole to start with. I’m guessing other places do this as well, but they make guacamole at your table. It was delicious and a neat experience. I also ordered the crab tacos, which I really enjoyed. In terms of service, I found it to be outstanding. The person who took my order misunderstood that I did not want another Piñata, but brought me one anyway. The manager said no problem and gave it to me for free. Yay!!! He also honored our discount, which was nice. My complaints would be that it seems relatively expensive given how cheap things are in Mexico. While I did enjoy my food, I’m not sure it should cost as much as they charge. Again, this is all relative. Compared to food back in the States, it is probably priced just fine; however, my piñata alone cost more than half the alcoholic beverages I enjoyed while in Puerto Vallarta. In sum, a great place to come for a date.
