The setting is nice, the mariachi band was fun and the sunset was beautiful. However, if you sit in the window there is a lot of bus traffic on the street. We were offered a free drink for each entrée by the street person. The margaritas were watered down. The food was decent. When we got the bill they said said we had ordered double the amount of drinks 12 instead of the 6. So we had to hassle with them to correct the bill which ended up taking another 30 min, but in the end they did correct it.

Great food and service. I had chicken enchiladas, husband had molcajetes, we both had guacamole and margaritas and we were very satisfied with the flavors and portions of the meal! Great ocean views, friendly staff, we will be back!

Came here after walking the boardwalk and we were given. Coupon for free guac or beverage. When in I learned the coupon was only for non-alcoholic beverages we opted for the guac, note the coupon one is not made table side. The guac was good I liked it mixed with the salsa they brought over. The slash was more soupy than most but had some flavor to back it up. For entrees we both got the shrimp enchiladas. They aren’t on the menu but he charged us the shrimp burger rate so it was well worth it. The enchiladas themselves were okay. Not really spicy like we requested and lacking the big kick of flavor I was hoping for but because they made it special I wasn’t expecting to be blown out the water. The mango margaritas were great just enough for a buzz. They also have a guy that takes pics and laminated that was a nice touch for the visitors. The service was very accommodating and pleasant. It’s right off the boardwalk too so close to all the other hot spots and tourist must sees.

My parents came to Puerto Vallarta a few years ago and raved about this place with mango margaritas that could knock you over, so when we stopped in this port again last week, naturally we had to visit. We ordered some guacamole to start which was made fresh right at your table. The food was great as well. I had the fish, dad had that tampiquena, mom had fajitas and my brother had the arrachera… No complaints from anybody. Oh, and of course I had 2 mango margaritas, which lasted me most of the day ;)

Very attentive service at this beachfront restaurant in Old Vallarta. This street has very high competition for tourist business and we’re glad we decided on it! Ceviche’s, fajitas, cocktails, were an answer to my taste buds prayers! They made special non spicy guacamole for my girls, special Sangria’s. The Octopus(Pulpo) were heaven. Owner and staff, were constantly offering new plates to replace dirtied ones, topping off drinks, keeping beers cold in ice buckets, pointing fans to our group even with the AC on. Price is fair and they had great meal specials with beer included.

Came in for cold Coronas and Pacificos and Foos Ball! So much fun! Hailey and David won… But Dave and I put up a good fight! Leaving now to go to Church! Site seeing in old town! Super nice guys here… Guacamole made at the table. Wanted my kids to experience it. Cool place to watch the MLB in the home run derby.

The food was amazing! Even the salad was great. The margaritas were top notch: we had the ones with Pueblo Viejo Reposado. The attention, superb! And best of all: the view: we had the opportunity to seat by one of the windows, and enjoyed the sunset. Only taking off one star because of the state of the restrooms that was not good.

This is one of my most favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta! Love the deco & music! My daughter had the most delicious Mi Chelada, in her own words the best she’s ever had. My husband & I always have a Tamarind margarita. Best coconut shrimp ever! & they have the best little bean & cheese burritos & mole. Must try!

Mi Querencia is a must-visit when we travel to Puerto Vallarta. The location is great — right off the Malecon with a nice view of the ocean. We like sitting at the bar, or at one of the tables at the windows. Like a lot of restaurants in Vallarta, they have a nice, open floor plan to take advantage of the great views and amazing weather. This place has some of the best margaritas in Mexico. You can order a variety of flavors including traditiona, mango, banana, and others. Try them all! The menu is excellent — traditional dishes prepared authentically. They have entertainment regularly, so keep an eye out for that too!
