The Boo Bar is a must when visiting Puerto Peñasco. The service is prompt, and the staff always makes you feel right at home. The ceviche is a must try! Pair it with a Boo Boo from the bar while watching the sunset on their new extended patio overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

This is a fun bar. The staff has a great attitude. Prices are fine and there’s plenty of shopping around. They only have one bathroom. But they’re in the process of building two more and an outdoor seating area. We had a good time shopping the stores and drinking at the bar.

Drunk people on swings, okay food (not my thing but edible), and the single longest line for a bathroom I have ever experienced. But, you sit on a swing in the bar. Loud music, yelling people. The patio view is great. Then after you get tanked, you can fall down the rickety staircase into the street. Now, you are on vacation!

The ambiance of this place is awesome! Mixed crowd, but all looking for a good time. This is not the fancy sit, down and eat at a great restaurant, place. This place is divey, lively and fun… with plenty of drinks. The food was decent, edible, but it was not the star here… the crowd is, especially right before sunset and at night! Fun music, booze flowing, and a wonderful wheel you can spin to either win free drinks or some other «prizes».
We ordered the boo-​rritto which was gritty, the grilled shrimp was good, but the rices was hard and probably old. The garlic fries were edible because by the time we got our food, our drinks were hitting us a little too hard, and i felt like a savage chowing down on them. Two stars for the food, 5 stars for the place.

Small but manageable. Nice view and good wait staff. It can get hectic if it gets crowded. Not much room to move around. Drinks are reasonable along with the food. Typical Mexican Cantina. If in the area it is a good stop off for a cool one. At least give it a try. It has a good reputation.

Great atmosphere and decent drink prices. They have live music which is actually pretty good too. The swing style seats are great and present a challenge when enjoying those dollar tequila shots. Best bathroom for miles too.

I enjoy hanging out at a good dive bar every once in awhile but this place is so much fun, I could hang out here every day! You literally swing at the bar from suspended little benches … Be careful, you could fall off if you spend too much time at the bar ! During the day the view of the Sea of Cortez is gorgeous. At night the Boo Band rocks the house! And the sound system will blow you away! The food is good bar food and the staff really does a great job of taking care of the customers. One of my favorite places in Rocky Point.

Cheap drinks, the bar «stools» are actually swings, and the staff is fun and AWESOME! We had a great time, and possibly some of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. So glad we wandered into this spot, it was exactly the type of break we needed in order to get away from our fun, lazy time on the beach picking up seashells.
