Great food, great price, great service! Can’t really go wrong here. We were well taken care of, and the food was fabulous for the price. I’m a picky person when it comes to food, and they were very accommodating. Great bar on the top floor too. Just make sure to go to the bar upstairs either before the sunsets or during the day to check out the view!

This was one of the best meals in Playa at a luxury hotel. The décor was lovely and service was attentive. For such great prices ($ 12 – 13 at lunch) it was tasty and luxurious. We had meals for four with two alcoholic beverages for around $ 65.
The burger and fries were excellent. I would def come back here again.

Llevaba tiempo escuchando buenas impresiones del restaurante insignia del Hotel Cacao. Fui a comer. Es un lugar para tener una comida o cena especiales, enmarcadas por su mobiliario, decoración de impecable gusto, su original loza, su mural con mucho carácter. Los platillos tienen una presentación meticulosa. Uno los contempla unos segundos y duda en querer meter el tenedor para no alterarlos. La comida es muy buena en cuanto a ingredientes. Las recetas no me encantaron. No son tan inspiradoras o interesantes en combinación de sabores. Buen marisco, buena carne, buenos vegetales, estupenda presentación, poca imaginación o creatividad en los sabores.

Tranquilicémonos, no es de 5 estrellas! Pero definitivamente es recomendable en la zona.
Un poco caro la verdad aunque ciertos platos lo valen como su pan francés. El jugo es una burla, te dan como medio vaso y no sabe fresco. El servicio es bueno, tal vez demasiado exagerado, algo muy común en los hoteles de la zona.
El hotel está muy bonito y toda la cosa. Así que hay que aprovechar para subir a conocer la terraza, alberca, y bar.

After a week of struggling to find good food i came to NIBS. /​excellent food. Excellent service. Romantic atmosphere. If your looking for a little quiet little book this is your spot. Gourmet. Delicious. Dinner. I had lobster salad and ribeye. For dessert I had horchata mousse with strawberries !! Yum

Perfect and actually really reasonable prices — the most expensive entrée was about $ 30 and our entire meal with drinks only cost $ 69! Don’t know where the expensive rating came from, but it sure is classy! Excellent service and fresh local ingredients — don’t hesitate go now.

The best restaurant I found in Playa del Carmen. Set in a luxury hotel that opened two months ago. In terms of ambience this place would hold its own in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Manhattan. The food didn’t quite live up to the flawless setting, but it’s much more interesting than the alternatives in the area. Nibs doesn’t merit a special trip to Playa del Carmen, but is an excellent dinner option if you’re staying in town.

Este restaurante está dentro del Hotel Cacao, y tiene un mural donado por la compañía francesa de agua Perrier. El artista, el genial Kobra, un pintor brasileño, mismo que estuvo a cargo del diseño del Mundial. A su apertura, asistió toda la alta alcurnia de la Riviera Maya y lo creo sin pensarlo. Los platillos tienen ingredientes cultivados en la región, todo muy fresco y orgánico. Su platillo estrella es el pozole de langosta, dime si no se te hizo agua la boca. Los horarios de desayuno son de 7:00 a 12:00, para comer de 13:00 a 18:00 y para cenar de 18:00 a 23:00. Acaba de abrir, tiene aproximadamente un mes y ha sido todo un éxito. Todas las esculturas son hechas por artistas mexicanos y es parte de la filosofía, apoyar la calidad del talento y producto local. Puedes hacer tu reservación al 984 8 030 485. Si te quieres chiquear, este es el lugar. Todo exquisito y una súper atención de primera, muy acorde al confort del Hotel. La entrada es por la avenida 1ra o la 5ta, a un lado del restaurante El Almirante Pech.
Sólo como dato cultural, los nibs son los granos del cacao.
