It’s not a Tea /cafeteria it’s a restaurant!!! They serve the most AMAZING breakfasts! We came back twice. I wish they would change the description because we didn’t find this gem through Unilocal. We actually asked a local and he told us this was the bomb and as always the locals are right! We actually are avid Unilocalers and didn’t find this place because of what it was under!!! Hopefully everyone finds this place through Unilocal or by accident because the food is authentic and plentiful. There is even pancakes with traditional American fixings. Try the enormous fresh squeezed orange juice. The service is FAST and super nice. Remember to ask for your bill when they grab your dishes– it’s not the states where they give you the bill and want you to leave the table ASAP! In most Latin countries it’s all about the company and eating slowly. They won’t give you the bill unless you ask for it and they won’t stink eye you if your sitting at a table for hours! Enjoy!

So good! We went here for breakfast, recommended by Lonely Planet. The menu is in Spanish, but there was a translator on hand to help go through the whole menu. We shared the Machaca(shredded beef with tomato & onions, beans & fries) for breakfast with two eggs on the side. It was plenty for both of us & absolutely delicious. The place is filled with locals & the food speaks for itself. Also has free wi-fi, the code is under glass on each table.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS and now that Unilocal is in Mexico it’s a whole new world for me! I got turned on to Mi Kaza by a bunch of guys from Hawaii and figuring that Hawaiians know food I figured I’d give it a try. Plus being a fattie… I mean… foodie I’m always on the hunt for the next great meal and Mi Kaza doesn’t disappoint. I’ve only been here for breakfast as I’m seldom in town for lunch. I’ve had the Chilaquiles with chicken, eggs and chorizo and all are great. The Omelet Jimmy is also wonderful. Ham, bacon, chorizo and cheese. How could it be bad? The Machaca al Gusto is really good and they have a ½ order too. The machaca con huevo is also pretty good and the tortillas are fresh and yummy! Great OJ and coffee. This place hits a home run for you and your compadres! Try it, you’ll be hooked!
