This place is fabulous. We’ve been going here for years and years. The sushi is phenomenal. The chicken teriyaki is great — my daughter doesn’t eat sushi. I could’ve just kept ordering the ahi tostadas and made them a meal. The service is unbelievable. There are literally several waiters standing around that work in a team to make sure you have everything you need. They all have headsets on so the communication between them is fabulous. I really cannot recommend this place enough.

This is by far the best Sushi Restaurant I’ve ever been to. A true culinary delight. The ambiance is wonderful and attentive staff who also serve you healthy portions of brew. Everytime I am in Cabo, I head to Nicksan… I even crave Nicksan when home in the states. I do believe the owner has another restaurant in Los Angeles. While Pricey, worth every penny and the food is truly art.

Best ambiance in Cabo. Best sushi in Mexico, by a mile. If you like sushi, ask for what’s fresh that day. Also, the bar & wine selection is unique and impressive for Cabo. Lots of unique menu items. Love the soft shell crab and the sashimi with curry oil and garlic chips. To try something different, ask for the off the menu fish ribs costillas.

In the heart of downtown Cabo, in Nicksan. Such delicious sushi and a fun ambiance. The Sashimi was fresh and flavored with a delicious combination of Asian and American sauces. The Lobster handroll wrap was paired nicely with the soy wrap. The Ahi Tuna Salad was seasoned well and complimented the lettuce. Every dish we had was above average and paired nicely with glass of Pinot.

Lobster Sambal is incredible! Ditto with the spicy pan fried fish. Place has a slightly rushed vibe but actually the food is unbelievable and the alcohol selection is truly solid. Drinking a generous pour of Hibiki 17 after a few bottles of some nice cold sake. Would 100% return for the lobster alone!

Pretty pricey, but worth it! The atmosphere is high class and the food is delicious! We had several rolls and found them to be fresh and full of flavor. The staff is VERY attentive– a little too attentive in my opinion. They were eager to take your plate away as soon as you paused. If you took a sip of water, it was refilled quickly. Sort of annoying! LOL

NikSan was INCREDIBLE! There was a time when I thought that no sushi spot could beat Nobu but this place did it for me. The crew started out with 3x tuna tostadas followed by the lemon roll(really good), the special roll(over the top), a coriander roll(good), a fried soft shell crab, and another special roll. The special roll was one of the most incredible things I have ever eaten. Will be back for another go with NikSan this summer.

Best sushi in Cabo. We did a sushi crawl along the marina. We had a roll at each place. At Nicksan we never order off the menu. Just tell the chef what you like and ask him to surprise you!!! Don’t mess around with other places. Just go straight to Nicksan!!!

Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had, and we are used to finding great sushi in Los Angeles. The ambiance is nice, service is very good, and the food is amazing. The flavors are just incredible. Although a bit pricey, you definitely get your money’s worth.

We had heard great things about it but the experience was decidedly mixed. Ambiance and service were great. The chirashisushi was good and a great presentation. The Japanese yellowtail with garlic chips and curry oil was great although it could have had half the oil. The tempura fried bass wrapped around crab was a huge disappointment soggy tempura drenched in sauce. Spicy tuna roll with a blob of bland non spicy tuna on top. Eel roll overcooked with a bland sauce.

We were puzzled by this place. I lived in Japan for many years and have a very high standard for sushi, and so when I say the sushi here is world class I think it means something. But sushi with multiple screens on every wall running wrestling, volleyball, and random events like a sports bar? Three times more staff than any Japanese restaurant I’ve ever seen, yet oddly inattentive? A Cabo restaurant that felt cold and unwelcoming? Weird and freakishly expensive. You want to charge these kinds of prices, you better get the service and ambiance right. But like I said, world class sushi.(The tempura and miso soup, on the other hand, were merely fair).

I came across this restaurant on my first night in Cabo, remembering my friend mentioning this place as a potential place to try. I was hungry but wasn’t craving Mexican food so I was game. The restaurant has a nice open, layout which was welcoming and fun. I opted to sit at the bar and Manuel was my waiter and Jacob was my sushi chef. Jacob was great, friendly, concise with his cuts. It was fun to watch him prepare my sushi, the precision was awesome. I love watching people make food as it is such a beautiful art. To combine an awesome preparation process with a beautiful final product, it made me appreciate the meal so much more. I ordered the Rainbow Roll, Spider Roll, Salmon and Tuna Nigiri. All done well and all were tasty and delicious. It was just great savoring the taste and appreciating the cuts. Manuel was great with serving me my drinks of Mojito and Dos Esquis. He was polite, prompt initially which was nice. It was a wonderful experience and a great first night to a wonderful vacation that I will not soon forget. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. Great for family, a romantic dinner or fun with friends. Great place to go to! Enjoy!

I don’t even know where to begin, by far the best dinner I have ever had. The ambiance– City sheik meets sushi bar. The service– the BEST in the business, when the waiters are assigned just to your table it makes it that more awesome. The Food– Chef Angel came over to our table asked for our likes, took our menus away and started sending plates over. The food was amazing! Best sushi I have ever had. We had 10 dishes and all of them were delicious. Their tag line«no soy sauce» food is made perfect the way it’s served. You will not go wrong with anything you order. If you want a fresh sushi dinner and great service Nicksan is the place to go in Cabo. You will not regret it.

Fabulous restaurant! Creative dishes with wonderful service! The sushi is fresh and amazing. The special sauces on each dish are the best I’ve ever tasted. The chef will make any special orders you request too. I make sure to eat there on every trip to Cabo San Lucas!
