Craving for some chaskas frutas since I landed. Had it last year (at a different shop) and wanted it again. Chaskas frutas is like fruit shaved ice almost, except that the fruit is blended in the ice. Very good. I choose not to add sugar because I like them naturally sweetened by the fruit.
Cute little shop and they also have many different flavors of ice cream. My fiancé had the Bailey flavor which is some taste of a common alcoholic drink here. I tasted it and I couldn’t tell if it had alcohol or not. I guess the only way to tell is if I turn red or suddenly go «tipsy». Luckily, that didn’t happen so it’s just a flavor that has a strong flavor to it.
They also sell Popsicles with fruits frozen in them. And also boba drinks you can choose from many different fruits. Some have chile powder you can mix with. Check out their daily deals as well. Very good.
