I really honestly want to like this place, but I’m sorry, the coffee did not cut it for me. If you’re a person who likes to do work in cafes, in broad and bright spaces with other companions who share the same interest in the experience of working in communal spaces like yourself, then yes, Project Space is perfect for you. It’s also a very beautiful space for you Instagram enthusiasts! Every spot has a photo op waiting for you! However, if you’re someone who loves … No … ADORES good coffee(like I do) and can tell between a cup that’s made with filters that weren’t properly cleaned, or overly filtered coffee grounds, or even a single shot that was compressed with only a tiny bit of strength, give this café a skip. Or better yet, if you insist on visiting, order tea. My coffee was nothing but miserable, bitter and plain bad. Sorry to say. The staff here are delightful though! Friendly, attentive and welcome customers with a huge smile! Happy staff members are any businesses’ best assets after all. Good place to work, nice staff, bad coffee. You be the judge then :)

The colour palette of this space is monochromatic. It has an industrial rustic touch to it because of the long cement seats beside the wide glass wall. The glass walls definitely brighten up the whole café and it is nice to lean against the glass and read a book. Even though the place looks clean and simple but I feel it would be great if they have more decorations. The reason I visited Project Space is because I wanted to try the cold pressed juice. It is quite pricey but I still bought it. The juice can last up to 3 days and that means I can buy it and store it in my fridge to drink it the next day. The juice is pretty mediocre and I don’t think I will purchase another bottle of juice.

Good use of space indeed. The tables, chairs, and one huge slab of concrete are kept to the sides leaving the middle empty. Besides making movement easy, the space actually allows for privacy between groups of friends and solo visitors like myself, who came to Project Space for some studying. I like the glass window concept. Just think about how nice would it feel to be able to look out at somewhere distant as opposed to a concrete wall, especially after spending an hour looking at the laptop screen. The place is simple but with simplicity at its best. The cactus placed in the middle of each table is a nice sophisticated touch. The coffee, though, was mediocre. The flat white I ordered started to form bubbles in less than a minute. Overall, I enjoyed studying here because I am a little, just a little, claustrophobic. I like having some Space and MY Space(pun intended).

Finding parking here is crazy, pretty much the same as all of SS15. Actually spotting the shop is a bit of a challenge as there isn’t any signboard at the moment however it’s the same row as Flat White Café and Starbucks, on the first floor. The interior is bright and spacious with sunlight flooding in through massive windows(perfect for Instagram pictures) and a comfortable outdoor seating area with high stools for those who wish to smoke. The Red Velvet Cake has room for improvement. It was much too dry and because of that i aste, but the frosting made up for it by being thick and creamy and not overly sweet. The banana chocolate chip cake was a just an average banana chocolate chip cake, though not as dry as the Red Velvet. And again, the frosting was done very well. Perfect balance of sweetness and just the right amount of it in between each layer! They also sell juices from a local juice maker«The Juice Co» for RM15 a bottle with flavors like Cucumber and Passionfruit. The Passionfruit Juice is a must for anyone who enjoys their juice on the sour side!
