Kin Ryu Tei

My cousin introduced me to this restaurant. First impression is atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable and the waitresses are very friendly. I was recommended to try Iberico pork (Spanish pork) and garlic fried rice, Ika Maruyaki Karaage (Fried Japanese Squid) and baby lamb loin. The presentation is very nice and the food is very tasty and delicious. I would recommend you to try it.

Came in to have dinner but was surprise with the variety of food in the menu. Ordered sashimi mix, kakuni ramen, and salmon skin roll, it came out really tasty and delicious. Ramen was perfect, not salty like others and salmon skin roll is very different than others. Sashimi is very fresh and nicely done.
Staff are very attentive and friendly. They always talk to their customer and ask them about their food. The experience we have here has been very positive. The décor of the place is just perfect to my liking, with modern look and elegant settings. Love this place, will come back again!!!

Me and the hubby were feeling very adventurous this one weekday night so we happened to be in the vicinity of Subang SS15 and thought we would try out a Japanese restaurant on this row of Japanese restaurants. We went in blind and surveyed their menus one by one before we decided on Kin Ryu Tei. The main reason we wanted in on this place was that they had reasonably priced sets below RM30.
When we entered we were greeted by one of the staff taking care of the door with an exuberant «Irrashaimase»! and politely shown to our seats. We ended up ordering the seafood porridge and sushi ramen set. In all honesty, the food was meh. I’ve had much better seafood porridge where I could taste the seafood rich broth. This one tasted like anything I could buy at a kopitiam.
The foreign workers were friendly but not the lady boss. She seemed very tensed and bossy, barking orders to her workers and treating them rudely. She kinda spoiled the atmosphere which was other wise homely and warm. She was also busy talking to her Japanese customers more than the locals. I don’t always give a thumbs down to a place but I’d spare one for this restaurant.
