This stall is located in the same coffee shop as Sang Kee Wanton Mee. I come to this coffee shop often mostly for breakfast. I usually have the hakka mee but sometime when I feel like having something different Ah May Pan Mee will be my number one choice. Ah May has many local customers; the pan mee is made fresh and is cooked well. I’ve tried the pan mee here and no doubt it’s good but I prefer their yee mee more. I usually order the dry yee mee noodle with pork ball soup. The pork balls are somewhat different; first off it doesn’t have that porky almost processed kind of smell and it doesn’t have that strong porky taste either. Now this is because there’s not only pork meat in the ball, there’s fish meat too, giving it a smoother texture. Definitely a must-try. Another special here is the fried foo chok. It is homemade not bought, so it taste different the regular foo chok and its price differently to. RM1.10 for one piece, yea it’s a bit steep but I don’t mind. Be ready for a long wait if the place is packed though, it takes them awhile to prepare the food here.
