Awesome spot for team building!
I have been here for quite a number of times with different groups of people and I find that it’s really fun to be here.
There are different levels of challenges and my best advice will be to start from the moderate one. Some people in your group might be having fear of heights and they might not be able to do it. So make sure you discuss with the rest about it. There are also options for kids and the kids can even hold their birthday party at this place! How cool is that?
Aside from that, in order to book a spot with them, you have to make your arrangements at least weeks ahead. Sometimes they are fully booked for the whole month! Pricing per pax is around RM 35, not sure if there are any changes to it and you can also purchase those gloves from them at about RM 2 per pair.
There are not many eateries in there, so the best place to visit right after will be around Subang area for food and drinks. If you have time, you can also head to the park next to them and cycle around with your group of people. They charge about RM 10 for 2 hours of cycling.

I am not a big fan of outdoorsy activities, so naturally, Skytrex has never been a place on my ‘to go’ list. But my new year resolutions are about going out of comfort zone and try something different. Hence, I found myself at the Skytrex park on Saturday morning.
The park, located at Shah Alam is pretty far out. You have to park your car at the entrance and take a buggy into the activities area. After that, we headed off to get the equipment and a short safety talk. Once you’re all set, you’re ready to climb, hop and swing like a Tarzan.
We opted the Extreme Challenge which was proven very tough for first timers. There were 21 tests and challenges we had to go through! But the flying fox was fun. For those who are afraid of heights, you’re better off staying clear of this place. It was a very good experience though very, very exhausting. Also, the coordination of the tests were sometimes a little off. At certain stations, we had to wait for 10 to 15 mins to do a task. But overall, a great team building game and it’s certainy nice to be out in the nature every now and then.

I came to Skytrex to see if there my extreme fear of heights is conquerable. I took the Big Thrill course (RM 45.00) The start is already a massive challenge. Climb up the long-​ass pole with flimsy looking steps all the way to the top. I wanted to bail almost immediately, but the staff were very supportive, giving the right sort of encouraging push and gave me time to collect myself. Halfway up that pole I swear I could feel myself swaying being blown by the wind. Nevertheless, it is done and I did it!
It was a great experience because once you’ve overcome that first climb, nothing else is as scary, adrenaline turns everything fun and challenging. The trek is a mixture of canopy walk, balancing, flying foxes, and other assortments of challenges. Safety here is of utmost importance, and every player is provided a harness, safety helmet, and is given a safety pep talk on how to use the two carabiners interchangeably to ensure you are always attached to a safety line while moving. The boyfriend, an avid rock climber, is constantly reassuring me that the products they use are of top quality. The caribiner and slack alone can carry the weight of a full grown elephant.
There will be an experienced staff at every challenge station to help out as well, as sometimes a player might take too long to complete a course and cause a human backup on the opposite end.
If at any point you are unable to finish the course, there are exit routes at every few intervals called the chicken coop. Well, cause you’re chickening out from completing the course. It was at many points reassuring to know that option is available. Thankfully, I did not have to use it as I complete the route, with a thrillingly long zip-​line at the end. While I was super glad to have conquered my fear for the day, the boyfriend complained that the route was unexpectedly short.
Next time, we’ll take the Extreme Trail.

OMG… What a day!!!
This place is my new playground. I love it!!! I’m the kind of person who loves extreme sports and outdoor activities.
Skytrex is located 3 km inside the 817 hectares forest of Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam, this park is only 40 minutes drive from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. In my opinion the place is perfect for team buildings, team bonding, you can celebrate your b-​day in different way and they also organise corporate events.
What is great about the park is the fact that they provide a great opportunity to learn about the rain forest and creates awareness on the fragile eco system. Another thing which I love about the place is that it provides an organized eco-​recreational outdoor activities which will take you from tree to tree via a series of aerial trails suspended at 3 meters to 22 meters in the air.
The park from KL has 3 circuits of various levels of challenges to cater for all outdoor enthusiasts: The Little Adventure (RM 35.00), The Big Thrill (RM45.00), The Extreme Challenge RM55.00
This is a place where you can enjoy jungle trekking from a level never done before — via the canopy of the rainforest. Test your agility, challenge your fear!

Calling all extreme sports lovers! Skytrex is known for their one of a kind jungle trekking experience which is through the canopy of the rain forest.
Having that said, they have 3 different levels for you to choose from, which are The Little Adventures, The Big Thrill and The Extreme Challenge. Definitely a great place to go for team building trips or just for a great outdoor activity with your buddies.

Skytrex is an adventure park that’s split into three different levels, the easy one for kids, the medium one and the extreme one. They are levelled like this because of the difficulty of the obstacles and the height, the higher the level, the higher the height. The price is affordable and the staff are patient and very helpful. You will have a practice round before you move on to try your level. They are very conscious of our safety and go to great measures to ensure that we are safe at all times.

I’ve only been for the easiest level, the beginners level. Due to my height, I am unable to go for the Intermediate level. If I’m not mistaken, the minimum height for both the Intermediate and the advance level is 140 cm and for the beginners level, 110 cm.
In Skytrex, there’s many obstacles that you need to go through e. g balancing on a tightrope to go to the other side, stepping on a see-​saw like thing, flying fox (my favourite!) and many others. For those of you who don’t know what flying fox is, it’s like a zip line where you hook onto this thing, and then push off and fly across the pond/​land/​etc.
The only bad thing about this is that if you’re behind a really slow person, it can be a bit frustrating (unless you’re a very patient person). However, this problem can be solved by you being the first person to do it. If this doesn’t work, another solution is that occasionally, you come across a junction where you can choose where you want to go so you could take a different way from that person in front of you.

I’ve spent a lot of my time perusing online for the perfect outdoor activity. Something that is safe but thrilling at the same time. With little to no effort, I landed on Sky Trex in Shah Alam. Its located deep within Shah Alam, but it shouldn’t be hard to find if your have a form of gps on you.
I was absolutely thrilled that we finally have an obstacle course within our tropical forests. Sky Trex offers customers the opportunity to fly, glide, swing and even dangle from tree to tree. It’s a thrilling experience for those who strive for challenges in relatively dangerous conditions. I remember, the trees kept increasing in height and the distance between them kept getting longer. But that was of my own doing. I had gone for the extreme challenge rather than the intermediate and beginner level. Needless to say, my friends and I were feeling cocky but at least we conquered it!
Beforehand, the staff gave us an official briefing on the rules and procedures of zip lining. We were given all the equipment needed, such as a helmet and straps to ensure complete safety throughout the course. Don’t be afraid though! If you are unable to complete the obstacle, you can advance to the next one or just end the course and head back to base camp. They made it as convenient as possible for people who don’t have the chops to complete the obstacles.
Overall, Sky Trex is a great way for you and your friends to challenge yourself and get dirty. I wasn’t particularly thrilled about sharing the shuttle bus to the first obstacle. But once I saw the first zip line, it didn’t even bother me a bit. My friends and I had a heck of a time. We particularly enjoyed renting bikes after. It was very nostalgic, cycling around with your close friends. I felt like I was 11 again. It’s a joyful activity for you and your group of friends. I guarantee the sweat you perspire throughout the challenge, is worth it once you reach the finish line. Sky Trex is an outdoor activity that’s just great fun if you have a group of your friends. If your friends are anything like mine, it will be one heck of a funny and thrilling experience.
