Started to fall in love with ayam penyet after having few rounds at Waroeng Penyet. And hence, today Danny and I went to hunt for other famous ayam penyet restaurant. We found the one at Sunway Mentari, called Ayam Penyet AP.
It is one of the famous ayam penyet restaurant in Klang Valley or over the Semenanjung, so we did have certain expectation on them. Since it is a weekday afternoon, we think it would be crowded but surprisingly it isn’t.
The outlet is old and nt really well-​maintained. Well, we still decided to stay since it actually look good. They have set, main course with rice and a drink, RM13.90 each set. It is pretty reasonable. We ordered two sets and our order was delivered very fast.
The food presentation was good. However, the clealiness of this branch is totally FAILED! Guess what? We saw baby cockroaches, they were really small one like a tiny little ant. OMG! It was unacceptable. It kept running around the table. Well, it actually came from the dishes. So, we did wonder whether we will get diarrhea after eating this meal.
And also the fork and spoon, it isn’t completely clean. You still able to saw some mark on it. You better check if you dine in there. Overall, it was really disappointing dining at Ayam Penyet AP, Sunway Mentari. We swear we won’t come back anymore. Now we know why they doesn’t have crowd during peak lunch hour.
