MPH @ One Utama

I used to love the MPH here when the store was a lot larger, with two floors and they had that escalator inside which allowed you to go in between floors. I suppose now it’s a lot different because people are getting more into e-​Books and so the demand has drastically dropped over the years. The MPH they have now has only one floor and many dark corners only because nobody seems to enjoy browsing through books anymore): I used to spend hours in here but now I tend to just make a brisk walk towards the stationary section and back out because there isn’t a variety of books I enjoy either. I hope they are still doing well (MPH now sounds like a neglected friend I’ve had for years lol) as opposed to their outlooks and hope they don’t close down like the one in The Curve!

Along with their great spectrum of books, From tourism to history, fiction to non-​fiction, educational to cook book. Like any other bookstore, MPH has it all. One thing that they probably fall short is their sales. Unlike like any Big bookstore like Popular, they tend to not have sales on their books which is a ‘boomer’ but however, they do have extraordinary book. Aside from that, I don’t see any different with any bookstore. Perhaps, they are efficient on updating their books. I was in MPH at One Utama and saw a bunch of a new updated books displayed on their bookshelf when other bookstore hasn’t which is quite a shocker.
To me, every bookstore are fabulous and unique with its way. MPH are just one of the unique bookstore that could never be replaced. :)
