The Point

This modernistic place is relatively new in comparison to the other restaurants established at Medan Damansara area. It’s tucked away one floor above Ribs by Vintry — yes that means you gotta climb the stairs. I cannot emphasise how important it is for you to climb these stairs before you have your meals here. Once you enter, prepare yourself for a food coma.
Those who are looking to treat yourself after pay-​check day should consider this place. Its dishes may be pricey (what do you expect when dining at this side of town) but you’ll definitely get your value’s worth. This is also a great place for an intimate date night over wine and good food. They’ve got a spectacular wine list and a lovely manager who would assist you in choosing the perfect wine to accompany your chosen dish.
I would highly recommend the pan seared salmon with noodles, soft shelled crab sliders, salmon sashimi (for appetizers). Seafood (see-​food) lovers — take note of this place! Also take note of the mirror facing you as you exit the restaurant and walk down the stairs. I believe they placed it there to show how well they’ve fed you as it is impossible to not pack a couple of kilos from devouring their meal.
The only issue I have with this place is their service. It may be due to the lack of staff tonight but the restaurant manager did mention that they’re still in the midst of training them. I guess I shall leave a bit of room for complacency here. When it comes to fine dining, it is definitely one of the better restaurants (value for money) you should visit.
