The Gravy Factory @ Nu Sentral

Literally, great gravy is served at the gravy factory.
Located in Nu Sentral Mall, this mall actually has quite a large number of different restaurants so you would figure out that to survive in this mall, the restaurant has to be great for sure.
The gravy factory will not disappoint you if you are looking for some great Westerns food, and they do have a wide range of different food in their menu. Also, price wise, I must say that they are being pretty fair here, so no worries to spend a lot even when you are craving for good food.
One thing, this place does get really packed during peak hours, so don’t be too late if you’re coming!

Not a huge gravy fan but this is not a bad place.
Their dishes are quite large and the cost pretty moderate. One of the dishes that a lot of people rave about is the chicken chop but for me the lighter the food the better. So if you don’t want something heavy you can try the baked crabs or some cod.
They do have the famous nasi lemak but what did it for me was the tiramisu cake. Oh my how delicious. Something that caught my attention was the lamb stew spaghetti. I can’t tell you how it taste it but it seemed to be quite a popular choice.

This restaurant serves some mouth watering dishes, I absolutely fell in love with Hainanese Chicken Chop with some potato wedges and a salad. it was super tasty and I had an amazing tim just being there, the atmosphere was great. It wasn’t so loud around me so I manage to have a talk without shouting which is really rare in restaurants these days.
To top up my experience I had the privilege to try out their Tiramisu cake. It was so good! I feel like I’m craving a piece right now! that’s how great it actually was!

Interesting place with an inviting name, The Gravy Factory piqued my interest since it opened in Nu Sentral some time ago. This restaurant is located on the 5^th floor of NU Sentral Mall (not part of KL Sentral Station but connected via escalators), and is one of the many restaurants located on the 4^th and 5^th floor of the mall.
This place prides itself for its Hainanese chicken chop, which I decided to try. Upon entering the restaurant, I found it to have a very homey and inviting vibe with a tastefully designed interior. They have an outdoor area where you can dine and smoke, and the view is lovely — probably the best thing about this restaurant.
The other amazing thing about this place is the gravy. Their Hainanese chicken chop is pretty standard — a deep dried chicken leg served with purple cabbage slaw and some greens, as well as french fries. What set this dish apart was the gravy. The gravy is sweet, tangy and delicious. It is clearly a well thought out gravy made with good ingredients. It went with the chicken chop very well.
I only have 2 gripes with this place. First, food took too long to prepare. Long enough to make you wonder what was taking them so long to prepare the food. When my chicken chop came, the chicken had already cooled to a less than desirable temperature, although it wasn’t cold or stale. My second gripe is the price of this place. The chicken chop meal with warm water cost me RM26. I still don’t know if the gravy made it worthwhile.

I you want to eat a delicious gravy, or if you never had it before, then it means that you have to try this restaurant. One of the outlets is located at the 5^th floor of KL Sentral Mall.
I’ve been here couple of times for the delicious gravy. My favourite ones are Pineapple Sweet and Hainanese Vegemite. In regards to the second course I tried the Hainanese Chicken Chop. The food here is amazing. I payed around RM30 for a gravy and second course, which I have to say that is cheep. The plates are quite big and you will be full. The food is cooked in a healthy way with natural ingredients and 0 preservatives, or artificial flavouring.
I really like also how the restaurant is arranged. The atmosphere is great and it has seats inside and outside on the terrace.
