This would be one of the lifestyle cafes which you just gotta love. Sushi Q is yet another Japanese café catering to the busy bee’s on the go. Dining in is an option as well however seats are limited, not much to worry about as from what I’ve seen, most people have it to go. Sushi q offers a wide selection of Japanese food such as a variety of inari’s and sushi’s, handrolls, pre-packed sushi sets, ramens and beverages. Also if you’re looking for a healthy yet light meal then you can consider grabbing their salads instead. In terms of pricing, Sushi q seems to be more expensive as oppose to other similar outlets. An inari here could set cost you about RM2.80 + per piece. Nonetheless, if you’re up for a quick Japanese fix, this is a place for you to visit.

Its all about Sushi on the go when it comes to Sushi Q, why they would even put ‘Q’ in its name beats me because there’s hardly a ‘Queue’ there to begin with. Their Sushi sets are pre-packed and you could even have a bowl of Miso Soup and Green Tea to go as well. It’s express Sushi. No queues here, ever! Their prices range from rm3 to about rm25 for a really filling Sushi set, I know this because I once bought two of those on an empty stomach(note: never buy Sushi on an empty stomach, you tend to overestimate the amount you can actually consume) and had trouble finishing the second pack. You can find all your favorite flavors of Sushi and Sashimi and I’ll just state this for the record, they’re delicious! You could definitely taste the freshness in each bite, I’m always a bit skeptical when it came to the salmon but I had no troubles with this one. I mean its no Nobu but it’s definitely worth it. Definitely one to consider if you plan on spending the night in, binge-watching Shameless(US version of course!) Best part is? No lines!

Apart from my cravings for doughnuts after my massage, this was another food that I was craving for — sushi. I first suggested with my friend that we go to Sushi Tei, but we happened to pass by this store walking there, and thought maybe we should give it a try since we had passed by the place for so many times and have never actually tried it. It wasn’t a regret for sure, they serve pretty good sushi here! The restaurant itself is not enclosed, it’s an open area with a bar selling a variety of sushi, then their seating area behind. I come to realize that in fact their sushi sells pretty fast here, so all are made fresh and a lot of people working here like to come here to grab a quick sushi lunch. They have ala carte sushi selection where the pricing goes from RM2.80 to RM5 per piece, and also some sushi combos that you can choose from. Drinks are sold here as well, mostly canned drinks. Fair price, not bad sushi in my opinion, and if you don’t mind some passing by audience while you are eating, this would be a place that you might want to visit!
