Sushi 2219 is a small authentic sushi shop that sells a very limited choice of sushi, tempura, and noodles. The place is small and cozy. They have hot green tea available for all their customers in flask. All the customers have to do is get the flask from the the table near the cashier and a few cups. It’s a self-service system for the drinks, but don’t worry, the food is served to your table. What I enjoy eating most at this sushi shop is their soft shell crab maki. The maki comes in tiny pieces, but let that not fool anyone because two orders of it can make me full. I’ve tried their vegetable tempura, but I’m not a big fan of it. The sauce to dip the tempura in had very little taste to it and my tempura ended up being very bland. My friend likes the salmon sushi very much. I’m not a fan of raw salmon or salmon at all, so I won’t be able to tell if it’s good or bad, but most of my friends find it good, so I’m guessing it’s worth a try for salmon lovers. One thing to note is that whenever you make more than 1 order for 1 type of sushi, they usually serve the all the orders in one go. So if a group orders eight plates of soft shell crab maki, then it would come in two plates instead of one, which is a good thing if everyone is planning on sharing, but would be troublesome if the group has decided to pay for their own specific order.
