Restoran Makanan Laut Soon Fatt

I was here a few weeks ago for an off work dinner with a few close friends.
Soon Fatt is located directly opposite the Sri Petaling Hotel which would make parking a little difficult. But there are random parking spots along the road.
The place is usually crowded during dinner hours but getting a table would take long or maybe I was just lucky.
Ordering away, we had a dish of vegetables prepared in the easiest style, stir fried. Pork ribs cooked in sweet sour sauce, glazed in honey and served in a pineapple. You could opt for the boneless version as well. Tilapia fish cooked in style of chicle. We went with minced garlic and spicy sauce.
The pork ribs were fried to perfection and has the right balance of sweetness paired with the tardiness of the pineapples.
Although prepared in a simple belacan stir fried style, the vegetable had a great crunch and taste to it.
The fish was a little too spicy for my friends but perfect for me. The meat wasn’t too flaky and the bones separate well from the flesh.
However, I was dissatisfied with the service and the menu. They cater more to preparing dishes based on what’s easier and did not like it when you have a personalized order.
Pricing wise is very reasonable. RM80+ for 4 dishes with 4 bowls of rice and a teapot.
