I checked the rates but not better than sigma money changer in subang jaya. They give more better than my money master. Go check it out

Came here on a Monday morning, about 11 am, fully expecting a long line but there were only 5 people before me. The line moved pretty fast too, but that’s probably because they actually have 5 counters in total. 1 at the front and 4 more inside. They buy and sell currency at a competitive rate, so it’s the best place to go if you’re looking to change a huge amount of money. Am satisfied with my experience here.

My Money master is currently my favourite money changer in Malaysia since it offers lower rates compared to other money changers. It is located at the centre of lower ground floor in Mid Valley Megamall, between San Francisco Coffee and Kluang Express. You can easily spot crowds queueing to change notes as another money changer which offers the same rate is just 2 shops away.
What good about My Money Master is that you can go to its website to see daily rate and the floating of currencies in the past 14 days. You can also order your currencies online to guarantee available stocks. I am not sure if students can get a cheaper rate like what the banks do but you can call and ask them before going to the shop. What more exciting is it does not require service charges nor GST! Remember to bring your ID, you may need other document certification if you are buying a large amount of currencies.

This is among the few famous money changer in Mid Valley Megamall I’ve known. Whenever I’m going abroad for holiday, this is my all time favorite money changer. I’ve done my research and compared them with so many other money changers within the same mall and with money changer in other malls. Besides the neighboring money changer (few shops away, which you can easily notice with the amount of people queuing), who offer the same rate with this shop, this money changer give the best rate (if you’re buying, they are a few cent cheaper, and if you’re selling, they are a few cent higher). I even have their website so that I can view them anytime before I go over to change my money (

Hence, whenever someone ask me where they can get the best rate, I will always direct them to this money changer or the neighboring one. Due to its popularity, be prepared to be in a long queue. Sometimes, they may even ran out of the currency you need.

Playing second fiddle to the more famous money changer that is located just two doors away is not an easy feat. Somehow they are less loved if you do judge them both by the queue but my recent experience has taught me otherwise.
They have more booths to service their patrons and hence they have shorter lines. They provide equal exchange rates and their staff are more friendly.
So I guess this debunks the myth of they are playing second fiddle to the former.

Lets face it, theres only two places in KL where you could exchange money at the best rates. They are My Money Master and MV Forex which are both coincidentally situated at Mid Valley and, to be quite blunt, two doors from one another.
But I think the more pressing issue here is how do you beat the ridiculous line of eager travellers who are trampling over each other for good rates? This is your one and only guide:
1. Wake up early.
2. Brush yo’ teeth. (You’ll get high-​priced rates if you don’t. Ok not really but once the guy gets a whiff of your breath, you might.)
3. Be 20 minutes early before they open which is at exactly 10am! 1 minute later and you’ll already have a 10-​minute line to look forward to. Come 30 minutes early if your want to grab a coffee first at the Starbucks located on the Ground Floor.
4. Once at the counter, smile and greet them nicely, ask them for the best rates that you could get for whatever currency you’re exchanging and you might just get a better rate. This only applies if you smile and greet them pleasantly.
5. Change yo’ money and chow.
Sounds simple? It is. It’s all about proper time management. You can thank me for these tips later.

Situated besides another money changer with equal exchange rate, they always have long queue especially around lunch hour.
It has four counters and remember to be clear in telling them what currency and how much you would like to change. They are easily hot tempered. Come in the morning to avoid the long queue.
