If your big on ribs then you got to check this place out! Indulge in the southern hospitality and sink your teeth in some juicy, mouth watering ribs here at Morganfields! This place serves some nasty ribs & pork shoulders marinated for hours & served to perfection. They dont call this place ‘Home of the sticky bones’ for no reason. Their ribs are so tender it literally comes off the bones without a fight. The restaurant adapts the american casual dining experience serving their house specialties but also offer other options to those not big on the ribs. Chicken tenders & meatballs, salads, apsta & nachos are also available. This place is definitely kid friendly as they have little coloring sheets to occupy them while you feast on. Also kids get to eat for free for every paying adult on weekends & public holidays. Be sure to try their beverages as well, the colorful classics include the Mango & Lime Lassi, apple & mint concoction and something I found very weird, the Begonia & cucumber(what a combination?!) The portions here are definitely for sharing & with that its pretty well priced.

I’ve never really tried eating at Morganfields because it is a Non Halal shop but I have walked in with my friends for a few drinks here. It’s a restaurant and a bar but focuses more on the food. Currently, their latest big seller is the GST Busters which include the follow on the menu: — Bacon wrapped meatball(RM13.90) — Sticky bacon spare ribs(RM40.90) — Pork Sausage(RM33.90) — The Carnivore — steak!(RM139) — Grilled Ranch Chicken(RM30.90) — T-Bone Steak(RM60.90) — Battered salmon(RM42.90) Apparently when eating here, children get to eat for free so that’s pretty cool! Not to forget, sometimes when I walk in stores, I order a kids meal(because my portion is often very small). If only I could pass off as a 10 year old! Watami(Japanese Casual Restaurant) Sushi’s and stuff but non halal Watami is a Japanese casual restaurant. I honestly don’t know what they mean by ‘casual’ because aren’t most restaurants casual? I don’t think I’ve ever come across a restaurant with a dresscode(except for Marini’s 57 but that’s because it’s more of a high class club lounge than a restaurant). Maybe Watami has a different meaning behind it. This restaurant focuses on lots and lots of sushi’s and set lunch in bento boxes. Well they look like they are bento box sets but not really because it’s not served in boxes. Although the main focus is sushi, they also serve other types of Japanese food like the ramen, which comes with different types of meat — if I’m not mistaken even pork too — so this automatically makes the store NON-HALAL.

I’m not a fan of pork ribs but I must say this place is good! When I first tried out, I was so pleased and satisfied with the quality of food, attentive to customer service provided and the time delivering the food was an average 10 — 15 minutes wait only. Mind you, the place can be crowded during peak hours(7pm onwards, especially weekends — so book your tables early!). What I noticed is that you cannot have a one to one talk because this place can be noisy for some people, loud musics will be played throughout the night and Mr. Bean movie will be on the screen — if you are a fan. A-la-carte selection was reasonably good and I’m a fan of their BURGERS I must say! Reasonably priced with a good size of portion!

AKA Home of the Sticky Bones. Ribs, ribs, and more ribs. Morganfield’s is a pork lovers heaven with their rib platters filled to the brim with corn on the cob, fries, mashed potatoes and footlong sausages. Along with your mains, a must get is their blooming onion with their signature dip. Personally the pulled pork burger is my favourite. The strips of pork is just so tender and juicy. And what else but a pint of beer to go along with those bones! Morganfield’s has a Buy 1 pint Free ½ pint promo from 11am till closing on Sundays. These guys definitely beat Tony Roma’s any day.

If you are looking for really tender pork ribs and just cannot get rid of that craving, Morgarfield’s is a rather good solution. It is basically a restaurant for the carnivore in you. They have everything from steaks to pork chops to lamb chops and of course juicy pork ribs. The meat they serve is so soft and tender and their portions are big enough to share. It’s a great place for family to come together. I must say that it is pricey but like I mentioned before, the portions are big enough to share. Also, it is difficult to find a place that sells this kind of food for cheap prices.

Personally thinks that Morganfield is awesome when I first tried it but then not recommend to go back too often, because you will get sick of it eventually, I was amaze with their portion of food in sets, but then its just too much for us to finish, nor even mention about the price, it’s so expensive and I don’t think worth for having this too often, recommended if you plan to have family dinner, birthday dinner or after come with your colleague. Their pork rib set is still strongly recommended, don’t go for ala carte food if you comes with group, why order ala carte when you can order one set and done! :p
