KL Sentral Monorail Station

The KL Sentral Monorail Station isn’t actually located at KL Sentral. But it is close by to KL Sentral. You either need to walk street side to the station or walk through Nu Sentral to get to it. If you want to go through the latter, you need to walk across a skybridge to get to the entrance of the station.
The KL Monorail Line is operated by the same company that runs the LRT. Thus you can use your MyRapid card to pay for fares on the monorail. If you need to travel between the Golden Triangle and KL Sentral, this is one of your best options.
I found it convenient to take the monorail while traveling between KL Sentral and Bukit Bintang. There are also other stations on the line which you can interchange to LRT aside from at KL Sentral. You can change to the LRT Ampang Line at Hang Tuah for instance.
The monorail trains seemed slower compared with the ones on LRT. There appear to be less train cars and a longer wait for a train. Monorail train rides also cost more than the LRT. Still it is a comparatively cheap way to travel around KL.
While I liked taking the LRT better, I think the KL Monorail is a good option for the first time traveler in KL using public transportation to get around the Golden Triangle area. Much safer to take compared with a bus where you might get lost if you are unfamiliar with the route.

I would like to tell you on the new and improved monorail station from KL Sentral. With the newly built and opened NU Sentral, you don’t have to walk from KL Sentral itself to the monorail station. It’s very convenient and a good change since it’s usually a hassle to get to the monorail station due to the need to crossing busy streets.
A walk through the nice and air-​conditioned NU Sentral will get you to the monorail station. They have also upgraded their coach making it a four-​car train now. It is much more spacious and has less seating. I find this much better than the two-​car train as this one had more seats and that’s what causes it to be so cramped before.
Monorail is the train that gets you to most of the hotspots in Malaysia, it is great that they finally upgraded their services. However, I dislike the announcements as they are quite loud for the ear. Anyways, you can expect more space now with this new improvement. It is much better than before.
