Jake’s at Starhill gallery is relatively new in comparison to the Medan Damansara outlet (smells musty). This outlet at the very fancy Starhill gallery is new and nice, the furnishing is very rustic and cowboy themed. We ate at Jake’s on Valentine’s Day 2015 and absolutely loved the steak! It was remarkably juicy and tasty with the minimal seasoning, no gravy no nothing just the grilled steak marveling in its simplicity. We had our ribeye medium well and it was cooked to perfection, like seriously the best steak I’ve ever had! One thing Jake’s can improve on is the presentation of the food, it looks like all the elements were just tossed onto the plate. Also the sides that accompanied the steak was just some potato wedges and corn (not impressive) I think it would be much better accompanied by mashed potatoes and some lightly steamed broccoli.
Prices here are on the expensive side but the steaks match the price tags so no complains there!
