Isaki Japanese Restaurant

The nearest Japanese restaurant near my area, if you see lots of nice cars around here, its because residential area people come here to eat but im not sure or what is it so nice. This pet friendly japanese restaurant has been here for few years already but whenever i come here and try, it does not amazed me at all.
I pay the same price but with different quality and taste, i would rather drive somewhere further to Publika Ido Ichi to have a fresh salmon sashimi and delicious fried fish. Whenever i come here, it is more towards the decent japanese food, not really a Wow factor, service is quite slow and it feels like something is lacking im not sure if it’s the quality, the sauce or the seaweed.
My chawanmushi was steamed well but not perfectly smooth, salmon sashimi was not slice to it’s perfection of thin but i love thick, the taste was just not there. All in all if i am looking for a decent japanese place to eat, quick and convenient and even better BRINGING MY DOG ALONG! then, i would just come here. No harm coming here to give it a try, as it’s rare to see an outdoor seating japanese resturant more then indoor around residential area and even better STILL OPEN AFTER 10! Supper anyone?
