As I stay in Desa Parkcity and find myself in an area full of food, I notice that there is only one dim sum restaurant around the area, and the only one that does not open after 11 or 12. I am, of course, talking about Eden Dim Sum. From the customary prawn dumplings, har gao, to the sweet and tasty chee cheong fun, the choices of dim sum are aplenty, and tastes akin to the quality of many 5-star restaurants. It is a pleasure to sit and be able to enjoy so many of these amazing dim sum, and of course, to enjoy the loud noises coming out from the much older citizens screaming for their favorite dim sum. One drawback of this particular place will be that it closes early, and most of the time does not operate after afternoons. If you want to enjoy a good plate of dim sum without feeling guilty that a line of people are waiting, I suggest that all of you lazyheads to wake up early and go there as early as possible. The dim sum waits for no one, just like any Chinese driving on the road.

Eden Dim Sum has one of the most delicious Dim Sum you can find. They usually sell out before noon during the weekends, so it’s best to be there early during those times. It’s fairly smooth during the weekdays. Being there on a weekend, it can have quite the crowd, so you might have to wait for a table. Down to the food, the basic Dim Sum dishes such as the prawn and pork dumplings, yam puff and prawn rolls possess a very clean look, like it was carefully done. No doubt, it was delicious and has a very refined taste, which I think puts it on top of other Dim Sum places. Also recommended is their fried carrot cake. I must say, I never thought I’d reviewed a simple dish like that, but this was exceptional. It was the perfect balance between bland and salty. Other varieties includes, Chee Cheong Fun, sticky rice, and porridge. Good place to have good Dim Sum and Chinese tea on a weekend morning. I highly recommend this place if you’re a Dim Sum fan.
