L.Table

I have passed by Lavender Bakery in One Utama countless times and I’ve never notice the ‘secret’ restaurant tucked behind this famous bakery. L. Table a.k.a Lavender Bistro was one of the most pleasant discoveries in the mall for me. As I walked passed the rows of pastries into the restaurant I was greeted by a pleasant hostess and arrangement of tables laced with crisp white table clothes. Each table was decorated with a single stalk of daisy flower each in a small glass bottle. The place looked pretty classy, so naturally I was expecting the items on the menu to be more on the pricey side. Too my surprise the food here is actually quite reasonable; you can get a decent meal here for less than RM25 depending on what you order.
We ordered the Classic Meatball Marinara which was pretty darn good but what I really like is their Duck Confit. Most place can never get duck right, but L. Table’s Duck Confit was surprisingly tender and juicy. I stew-​like sauced blended well with the handmade fettuccine, making it a really hardy meal. I can’t say much for the desserts though, we tried something like a fried sweet samosa and it was mediocre at best.
