As an American I am always impressed by the Japanese culture. So I was very happy that my wife and I where able to experience a Baystar match! We bought tickets to stand on the top row and had a super blast! Food was super amazing! Highly recommend a visit!!!

I was very fortunate to catch a Yokohama Baystars game before the end of the season. Arrived via JR Line at Ishikawacho station. About a 5 min walk to the stadium. Ate lunch in Chinatown before the game. The Stadium– Very clean. Looks like it seats 25,000−30,000. From our seats we had a nice view of the city and a really tall Ferris wheel. The game watching experience: excellent! Really enjoyed the game. The Baystars have some hitters on their team. The player cheers/chants sang by their fans. Great views of the field. The balloons being launched. Chu-Hi and Beer sold at the seats(by cute ladies) so I can enjoy the game and not waste time standing in line. I also like that fans respect their stadium and clean their seating areas before they leave. That is something I wish was the standard in the US. I look forward to watching at least 1 game a month next season. Side note: got to meet and take a pic with Mashi Murikami, 1st Japanese player ever to play for a Major League team(San Francisco Giants).
