Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had. I didn’t know that there was soup in the wrapping, so when I bit into it, hot soup burned my tongue. But once I realized I had to puncture it first and drink the soup, it was pure heaven. Definitely a must-eat whenever you’re in Yokohama.

It’s better than a majority of the fried shyoronpo joints in China town. It’s a bit pricy but the flavor makes up for it. I always go for the green onion version and I swear if my wife let me I would kill of 5 or 6 trays of 6. Beware — these are softy half fried balls of meat in a boiling hot soup. You break them open, drink the soup out, then devour them. If you just bite in prepare for a lava like stream of immense flavor that will burn your taste buds. These little things are my favorite snack in China town — you have to try them out. These things are sold every where in China town, I have found better in machida but nothing better in motomachi.
