Most people would say that being able to eat at a good local restaurant in Japan is truly one of life’s great luxuries. This restaurant, like its name suggests, provides ultra-fresh fish caught from the deep abyss of the oceans from the Miura, Kanagawa prefacture The fish is procured each morning from the Misaki Miura Port and one would say there’s a good reason why the restaurant name placed a strong emphasis on the origin of their seafood. The wonderful flavor profile resulting from the freshness and the sweetness of the seasonal ingredients is simply unbeatable. When the prepared food is paired with local Japanese sake and beer then one will truly experience great culinary refinement. The menu is quite extensive. Each of the dish is uniquely crafted, whether it’s served fresh, seasoned, broild, grilled, or modified from its original state. Not sure if the restaurant offers menu with English translation but it would be helpful to bring someone local to help order the dishes. if not then you can always ask for specific ingredients and/or preparation. Maybe ask the restaurant to surprise you with some of their special signature dishes. Smoking is allowed inside the dining area so be prepared.
