Love, love this place! They have cute desserts according to the Zodiac signs. Even their Salt & Pepper shakers are Star-shaped!

I am American and in town for work for a month. We we ate here last night. This was our second attempt since last time we came at 9:30pm and they would not seat us although they close at 10pm. We went in at 9:20 and we had to order by 9:30. We ordered. Ice cream came quickly and was good. No english menu – which is fine. The whole time, the ladies acted as if we were an inconvenience, dropped the check with the ice cream, and rushed us. They were not nice and I noticed they never made the other Japanese customers feel bad. At the end, she counted our money four times and twisted the money, as if it might be fake! We were in and out in 20 min and left before other customers and before 10pm – simply because the environment was not warm or welcoming. Will not return.

This place is really cute with themed parfaits for different starsigns. The one we got was Aries and it was pretty tasty, but my friend wasn’t very hungry and only wanted to share some of mine. Because we were two people they made us do two orders which was really frustrating. Otherwise we had a good time.

I saw this cute little café on Youtube once and after finding out how many stories any given building could be in Tokyo, I was a little unsure if I’d actually find this little location. It is actually easy to spot and the sign is in English. You’ll see it on the street corner as you’re walking to Sunshine City. It’s on the second floor. Even though I went on a Saturday and it was bustling, I only had to wait like 10 minutes to be seated. I had taken a look at the menu as I waited and decided on a parfait(cause who orders regular looking food at a themed café, right?) with orange slices and ice cream topped with star cookies. The waitresses spoke a little English so I didn’t have an excruciatingly difficult time ordering. The service here is incredible, by the way. The waitress kept my water kept filled and didn’t rush me despite my being on my own and only eating a parfait(unlike in America, where you’re practically being rushed the moment you walk into a place). I didn’t have long to wait for my parfait, plus, I was looking around at all the other patrons enjoying their cute creations. When my own creation came out, I was so surprised about the size and how cute it was and dug in! It was delicious! Everything complimented each other so perfectly. I was very surprised to see corn flakes and tasty treats at the bottom of the ice cream(I assumed it was going to be more ice cream). Each bite was delicious! Would I come back? Maybe with some friends. There are other themed cafes I would rather try if I am visiting Japan by myself and at almost 900 yen a dessert, it’s not some place I’d go back to by myself since I can spend that at a new place. I think it’s fun though and why not give it a go?

Japan is all about themed cafes and restaurants, they love it! This café, «Milky Way» is well, star themed! All their sundaes are based on the star signs and you even get your horoscope for the month. It’s a really cute place with white and blue star interior and a casual atmosphere. The prices are as most themed cafes overcharged but the sundaes are a good size. Taste wise the Aquarius Sundae I got was lovely. Pumpkin and sweet potato ice cream topped with pumpkin cream and star shaped biscuits. My friend got the Pisces one which was berry ice cream with berries. They were nice but not sure if I’d pay ¥800 yen for them again. All in all if you want a little different feel from your regular café come have a go!

I loved this place. Only in Tokyo, where dreams come true, would you find a restaurant offering desserts keyed to your astrological sign. Seriously. This place is everything you’ve ever wanted in dessert and more. If I recall correctly, my dessert had ice cream, yogurt, boba, crisped rice, cake, crepes, chocolate, and a whole lot of other goodness in it. It was amazing.

I came here a few times with friends as a student. Their parfaits are constellation themed, and just super fun! It’s located right in front of Ikebukuro Sunshine City, on the second floor with a nice view. I went here with my husband last night, and ordered food for the first time. Their Salmon club is very good. For 850 yen, it is probably expensive by American standards, but reasonable given the location.
