I went during the week and it was almost empty, so it was very easy to go through the maze and get out in time. Always enjoy the cheap food there and

Just a normal IKEA, but makes for a good deal in Japan. It’s my go to place for non-dairy chocolate in Japan, which is surprisingly difficult, if not impossible, to find in Tokyo. They also recently started selling a vegan version of their«meatballs» that is mostly made from vegetables. I haven’t tried it yet, but, again, it’s difficult finding vegan anything in Japan. I’m excited to give it a try! Tachikawa station is about 35 minutes from Shinjuku station, then IKEA is about another 10 minutes walk from the station. Showa Park is close by, so why not make a day of visiting the park and going to IKEA. This location also has some good deals on furniture and food items. Delivery isn’t too expensive and starts at around ¥3,000. The only downside is that you have to put everything together, but you already knew that, right?

Just your standard IKEA. They have a good sized parking lot that is free to park in with purchase. If you don’t make a purchase its ¥1,000. Just be sure to scan the barcode on your receipt when you exit.
