Retro is a very popular café among students of Waseda University, especially for Bun-cam students.
I came here millions of times when I was a student.
Omurice (Japanese Omelet Rice) here is my favorite meal in the area. The omelet is super creamy, and each type of sauce tastes great.
Usually they serve three types of sauces. However, during lunch time they only serve one type of omurice, and I think that doesn’t taste good as usual. (It’s good enough, though)
Also, the seating is very crowded and too close to other tables. You can never be private here.
I prefer to come here during afternoon or evening. Omurice tastes better, and there are less people so I can relax.
Recently I visited here for the first time in five years and felt it’s still good. Their omurice reminds me of the days in Uni.
