Great Craft beer option if you need a break from the busy shopping streets of Harajuku/Omotesando. Harajuku Taproom(Baird Brewery beer) is nearby. If you want to try other local craft beers stop by here. Location/Atmosphere: decent location. Short walk from Harajuku station. Tucked away on a side street. 1st floor location. Very chill atmosphere. Rock and Roll music. Beer: 6 beers on tap. Asahi super dry and 5 rotating Japan craft beers. Enjoyed the Swanlake porter and Coedo Kyara ale. ½ pint and pint sized available. I hope they add more beers soon. Food: Cool gastropub selection. Enjoyed the Red Hot Chili con carne and stir fried sliced tongue from the Barbarian list on the menu. The tongue was delicious. Tastes more like steak than tongue. RH chili con carne was ok. Enjoyable time! Park yourself here and have a drink. 20⁄1002016 Unilocal Challenge

I actually loved this place. Like many bars in Japan they can be quite tricky to track down, which means when you find a good one you want to stay in it. Searching for craft beer bars in Harajuku this one came up on Unilocal so we checked it out after doing a bit of tourist wandering around the area. It’s down a lane and up some steep stairs, but when you get inside it opens up into a cool craft beer bar. Good things for this place, cool urban décor, friendly owner, does craft beer, also does steak(sadly I had just eaten so did no try it, but looked good) and played some cool tunes to provide atmosphere. The place was very chilled out. It was early evening and a tired punter just finished work fell asleep at the window and the owner put a blanket over her to keep her warm. Star off for me is because there was only 6 taps and one IPA. That is not enough for me if your going to call yourself a craft beer place. That said still a great pub and if it was my local I would visit a lot.

Small little place upstairs that offers a very chill and cozy space for a pint of beer or coffee
