Yes, a one star rating! Shocking isn’t it? As Apple’s products have increased in popularity so does the demand for the geniuses and technical support staff to work twice as hard. It was at this location where I bought my first iPod, macbook pro, server, capsule, iMac 24 inch, iMac 27 inch and many other devices and computers for my company. So, I was disappointed when an overworked, tired and clearly agitated non-bilingual Apple Genius assisted me with camera issues on my iPhone 6 plus. Long story short, the problem was not fixed and I became disgusted by his attitude and tone. I’ve experienced far better treatment /service before but clearly things are slipping at this Apple store. I am still an Apple fan, just bought a new macbook air(in the US) but I will never buy nor visit the Shibuya branch again. Going to the Ginza location next time.

It was a rough start. I was greeted when I entered. Went and looked at an Apple Watch. Then waited. There were sales associates all over the place. More of them then customers but they were are bunched together chatting. Was ready to leave when the greeter finally noticed me looking around and asked if I needed help and was like yeah. Got a sales rep and we did the whole thing. It took ten minutes but got my tax free Apple Watch and was all set. Overall it seemed really odd since I was use to apple stores back in the states but overall hey got the job done. Just not with the customer-centric details one expects from apple.

With the exception of Macbooks… I have never been an apple fan. After the service one of my greatest friends received from Ben, I just might be converted. We had a very stressful situation with a freak battery malfunction while travelling in Japan, causing my friend to be without a phone in a country where we know little about. Ben was very couteous and helpful and even recommended an excellent and fun sushi place nearby while we waited on the battery replacement. I’m used to fixing my phones on my own but it got me to thinking that Apple might be superior for this type of service. If my phone were to break I wouldn’t have the means or tools to fix it away from home. Having excellent customer service in major cities around the world makes Apple great. I don’t want to take away from Ben, hwowever, clearly Apple is lucky to have such an excellent employee. Harrison P. S. Ben also expertly recommended a few cool places to watch the USA v Belgium match(which is hard to find since it will be played at 5am JT).

You won’t imagine how often my iPhone gets out of order and how often I have to visit Apple store! Just don’t forget to make an appointment before your visit. The first time i broke my iPhone, I tried to contact my cell phone provider company Softbank. But after many long phone calls I was told to contact Apple store, while I visited Apple store, they told me I had to make an appointment first or it takes forever to wait… But the luckiest thing is all the apple store specialists are friendly and helpful. If you do make an appointment in advance, it only takes less than 20 mins to have your iPhone fixed or changed. Of course, not only the hardware problems, they help software problems as well. The only thing is Apple store does not provide parking lot and it’s hard to find one nearby.

Great store — they have many bilingual staff which makes for smooth sailing! Unfortunately, due to the prominent location they are almost always crowded. I definitely recommend making a reservation online especially if you plan on going during after work hours or on the weekend.
