Did you know that in Japan, Starbucks is the cheapest coffee chain?! By nearly 25%!!
This Starbucks in particular is huge but it was packed when we went and it was on the parks ‘off season’ during the week. I guess it is a popular after-​school hangout spot for the youth of Osaka so be prepared to not find a table. That being said, fear not, there are plenty of other seating areas both inside and outside so I will let the crowd problem go.
This time I ordered the Matcha Tea Latte as I was informed it was different from what they make on in the US and my informants were correct! The drink is so much better in Japan! I would go with this drink as their other drinks are the same as the US only more expensive. Seemed that the prices matched Starbucks in Vegas and when they are attached to über-​expensive hotels. Average price for coffee in Japan will run you $ 4 – 5.
