Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka

We stayed here for three nights and it was fine. Expectations were lower as the hotel chain was the Sheraton. Hotel was older so hopefully a room upgrade is in the works.
Hotel was less than a 10 minute walk from the JR line so we could go to Kyoto for a day-​trip. Post office was also nearby the hotel. Plenty of local restaurants such as bbq were around the area, especially at the JR line.

It is a very good business hotel. Staff is very helpful. There are plenty restaurants in the area. Airport Limo bus stops by the hotel.

This is a famous Starwood group hotel and their services are kept high.
It is connected to Uehonmachi station and has a bus stop of airport limousine bus.
That’s mean a very convenient hotel for travelers.
Around the hotel, there are cheap and good restaurants especially in the HiHi town.
If you need more expensive ones, in the hotel and in the Kintetsu department store that next to the hotel.
The rooms are getting old but very clean.
Beds are special made for Sheraton and the bathrooms are also good for taking bath.
I recommend the Chinese restaurant in the hotel.
Their Mapo Tofu is really good.

上本町駅に隣接し、大阪空港、関西空港からのリムジンバス乗り場もあります。
ということで、旅行者には便利なホテル。
ホテルの近くには安いレストランが多いハイハイタウン、さらには近鉄百貨店やユフラといったショッピングする場所もあります。
部屋はさすがに少し古くなっていますが、清掃などは抜かりありません。
またベッドはシェラトンの特注ベッド、そして浴槽などもゆっくりできるので、疲れは残らないでしょう。
一番のオススメはホテルの中華料理店。
そこの麻婆豆腐は本場の味に近い、山椒のきいた味で美味しいですよ。

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka though a rundown and in need for a major face lift. But it is well priced as a SPG Category 2.
Location is perfect if you are taking one of the Airport Limobus from Kansai Airport as this is final and the only stop of the line. Great if you have heavy or bulky luggage.
Right next to Ōsaka Uehommachi Station 大阪上本町駅 made travelling around the city really convenient.
Room and bathroom is spacious. The 2 Queen Bedroom we stayed in was one of the most spacious one we experienced at this price point!
4000 SPG points was a good deal. I would stay again at Miyako next time when I am in town!
