Hidden gem of Italian food in Osaka! Such a cute tiny spot, with 6 seats right at the counter to see the chef at work. The set lunch menu was in Japanese so I had no idea what i would get but the woman asked me if I had any allergies and then the antipasto came out and was a wonderful variety of fresh bites, so off to a great start. There was a light salad with a citrus dressing, some juicy breaded chicken cutlet, octopus, mortadella, eggplant, an egg and asparagus omelet, and some other assorted meats. And two pieces of fresh airy focaccia. So good. Once I finished the chef brought out the portion of pasta. Today it was a square spaghetti in a fresh, light tomato, onion and bacon sauce with just the right amount of parmesan. Perfectly al dente and just the right amount of salty. Yum. All for 1000yen! There’s the option to add desert for 300yen and coffee for 200yen and I see some people get the rich dense looking chocolate but I was too full.
