Teppan was a good choice. Local Nakano flavor where you walk down the road and wonder if you’re walking into someone’s house or a restaurant and then get in and are super excited when you smell the smell of victory. Or teriyaki sauce. Since they both smell the same anyway. I would see this a lot on Jdramas and wonder why the family lives in the restaurant and the neighbor kid sleeps on the kitchen counter. Now I know. House restaurant magic. Teppanyaki, okonomiyaki heaven. They cook it on the the grill where you can see that it wasn’t gotten from the frozen food section but made right in the hands of baby teppanyaki Jesus himself. Fabulous. The drink selection going for around 400 – 600 bucks is pure bliss. The restaurant feels like it’s family owned and has a very down to earth, friendly atmosphere. I wasn’t able to speak Japanese but they communicated with my friend and tried use their limited English which was really nice of them. Warning. THEMENUISONLYINJAPANESE… Gambatte né! But I was able to read enough plus my friend helped me the rest of the way to a perfect dining experience. Thank you Miki 三木 for the wonderful dining experience. You and your restaurant rock!
