I used to go here a lot when I was working in the Nakano area. This ramen restaurant serves iekei ramen which is one of my favourite types of soups. I’m am therefore quite picky with my ramen. I like this place for several reasons. One being that you are welcomed with a very loud いらっしゃいませーーーーー(welcome in Japanese) by the youngish(cute) guys behind the counter. They are super energetic and they do say out loud and repeat every order that comes in. Thinking back, that does get a bit annoying but it’s very entertaining at first. The second reason I like this place is the portioning of their ramen. Some places over do the noodle to soup ratio where you either get too much noodles and not enough soup, or too much soup and not enough noodles. These guys have the ratio down so I do feel satisfied after each meal. Third, their ramen is good! The taste is great and they have a selection of extra flavourings you can add(such as garlic or sesame seed) to your liking. So all in all its a pleasant ramen experience. The water is self service but that’s ok! Enjoy!
