I’ve been coming here for many years whenever I visit my relatives in the Higashi Nakano area. This store has been in the area for easily over 50 years if I’m not mistaken as my dad and all his family/relatives say they’ve been coming here when my dad was in college. And as one would expect of a restaurant that’s been in town that long, this place serves up some great food. My personal favorites are the gyoza(which may actually be the best I’ve had), Tan-men, and yakisoba. All are standards at most Chinese(Chuka-ryori) restaurants, but this place serves up some tasty servings. Unfortunately, because of it’s long standing history of good food in the neighborhood, there’s a good chance you may have to wait for an open seat since this place does get crowded and isn’t a large space. But rest assured if you get the gyoza, it will make up for the wait.
