It’s rather unusual to have two shops so close within a 90 second walk from each other but I can see that each has its own clientele that varies by location. This particular shop carries nearly the same snacks, cookies and candies as the shop located straight in front of the station. However, this one doesn’t have the luxury of spreading out a large number of items to display. This in turn limits the selection to smaller items as candies and small boxed snacks. Another major advantage of this location is it’s MUCH less crowded than the other. No jostling in the narrow aisles while you wait in line to make your purchase. In fact, there’s usually no cashier wait at all. You will run into the occasional frenzied housewife of senior citizen who will attempt to bowl you over with their mass and momentum, or use their baby stroller as an aisle-clearing bulldozer, but all in all, you can shop here at a more leisurely pace(which leads to more spending?). The other place is swarming with school kids, so if their total unawareness of your presence bothers you, do shop here. Prices on the most popular items, pocket mints, gum and chocolates, are pretty stable. Occasionally you see a really good sale. Stock up then. Overall, for your daily supplies, you won’t find cheaper prices at convenience stores. This place clearly passes the benefit of bulk purchase prices on to the consumer. Bonus points: + Cleanliness: 4⁄5 + Lighting/layout: 4⁄5 + Spaciousness: 3⁄5(it’s rather small) + Selection: 4⁄5 + Staff: 3.5÷5(neutral but they do have time to get away from behind the register)
