Just ok American food. Nothing to rave about, but service was good and ambiance was kind of dead.

Decent American food if that’s what you’re in the mood for. But you’re in Japan you should be trying other places! No, it’s pretty good food but on the expensive side. So if you get that craving for some Mac and Cheese that just won’t go away I recommend visiting HRC.

Okay, I got my 2ndHRC today in Tokyo. What a journey and this was one of the cooler spots in my travels to see. There is soooo much music history here. If I already wasn’t full, I would have got some ribs at Tony Roma’s next door. Okay, onto the review. The staff were nice and friendly. I did not try their fare, but the restaurant was clean and being decorated for Halloween. Domo arigato!

My bucket list is to attempt to visit all HRC locations! So, I’m now crossing off Tokyo Roppongi location! Located in one of Tokyo’s busiest nightlife town this location is open until 4AM. Situated next to Tony Roma’s once you walk upstairs into the dimly lit lounge the music gets you in the mood right away. Food was consistent, staff was friendly and enjoyed the video DJ who played some great classic rock songs.

HRC is what it is, not my cup of tea though. If you’re in a place like Japan, get out of your comfort zone and go try something new. If you’re in the mood for comfort-food though, it is an okay option — though there are better alternatives in the surrounding Roppongi area.
