Aquacity in Odaiba is known for the small outdoor replica of NYC’s Statue of Liberty and a ramen theme park, which was unfortunately closed for renovations. The rest of the mall is pretty average with your typical modern-day clothing stores and food court. They do have an information desk staffed by a robot and laser keyboard but it wasn’t working when we were there.

Another mall in a string of malls that is Odaiba. There are so many stores here that you might lose your mind where to start shopping in the area. Aqua City is decent, but not the best shopping location in the area. However, they do have a movie theater where I was able to catch the latest Takashi Miike film as well as discover a clothing chain called Captain Santa! Captain Santa??? I was sold until the I saw the price tag. Over $ 100 bucks for t-shirts with a picture of a cartoon buff Santa. No jokes. Such an awesome design, but I’m talking basic t-shirts here. Like everything else in Japan this is multiple floors so you might have a hard time navigating at first, but once you find your footing you’ll be able to figure this place out. Either way, a perfect place to take a break and unwind and watch a movie.

Nice mall in the Daiba station and adjacent to the Pacific Grand Le Daiba hotel. The 5th floor is filled with wonderful restaurants including a Sizzlers, Eggs and Things and Kua Aina burgers all of which are present and roots in Hawaii. I loved Surabaya for Indonesian food.

This was a convenient shopping area for me since I was staying nearby. Everything from 100 yen store to nice dining and everything in between. It’s capitalist retail therapy in it’s finest example. Even eateries that are large which is unusual for Tokyo due to the fact that they have the real estate. Get your stuff on all levels

A 5 story mall in Odaiba. There’s a bunch of boutiques, shops, cafes, movie theater, and even a ramen theme park on the fifth floor that you can check out. The mall also has a food court. There’s an official coca cola store here and a Psycho-Pass themed café if you’re a fan! They sell related merchandise and have gachapon too. They have a mini aquarium and light show at the bottom levels. Be sure to check out the DAISO store if you already haven’t. You can get some cheap souvenirs and stock up on drinks there(to keep hydrated for walking, ofc what did you think I was talking about?) Tip: just outside Aqua City Odaiba is Fuji TV building that has the light show at night. During December, they play really cute Christmas theme and music.

This is one of the three major shopping complexes in Odaiba. In my opinion, Aqua City pales in comparison to Diver City and Decks. An interesting attraction here is the ramen museum.

Aqua City is another one of the large shopping center/complexes that lines the Odaiba Beach Front. Like the others, there are a lot of stores, restaurants and things to do. They have brand names like Lacoste and Coach, as well as family friendly stores like Toys“R“Us and Disney Store. You’re bound to find something for everyone. The delicious burger/sandwich restaurant Kua’Aina is also located in this mall, and makes for a perfect meal and viewing point. The upper floors of the mall also offer nice views to the Odaiba Beach and skyline.
