Great up-scale coffee shop ambiance and a good curation of Kyoto travel books and information. Excellent location too, right across the street from Fushimi Inari-taisha. I would give it five stars, except the espresso was rather weak. I had a latte and the milk to espresso ratio was way to high. I’ll ask for a double shot next time.

4 stars for amazingly, delicious coffee; 2 stars for MEH food. this coffee was on par to that of coffee we enjoyed on our honeymoon in italy, it was really THAT good. :) and it’s conveniently located right by the train station and right outside the fushimi inari shrine entrance. prices were fair and reasonable as well. the food, on the other hand, was not good. we got two different types of muffins, which looks fluffy and tasty, but they tasted like cardboard. eck. bottom line: very creamy, velvety, delicious cappuccinos. mmm.
