Tan Tan is at that magical spot where your regular eight-seater ramen house becomes a full-out restaurant. The staff is friendly and it seems like a good place to take a group or just grab a bite after work. The titular noodle dish is simple but delicious and well-balanced. As other commenters have pointed out, the large serving is only marginally more expensive than the regular bowl, so it’s well-worth the upgrade. Both sizes, though, are priced pretty cheaply. The fried rice was a solid accompaniment to the dandanmen and both dishes came out very quickly.
