We wouldn’t have found this place except by searching for food in our area. It’s a really beautiful shop that specializes in soba and udon. They have an English menu available, and very kind service. We got the plain cold soba and the udon with Kyoto herring. Both were really good. The best part was how it felt like we were stepping right out of the city into a quiet garden.

Awesome homemade noodle shop. The saba is very well marinated to the point that it is very dark and sweet. The ebi fry are excellent also.
