Too expensive for newbies I found this cool looking spot on Unilocal, and now is best season for hot pot. My friend from overseas and I decided to visit here because review sounded awesome. The way I get there was fun because this is truly hidden spot, you need to get through street that you feel very hard to get through. I found soy milk hot pot was very cool, they actually make Tofu after you enjoy eating hotpot. And it was really awesome. Other dish ware also nice, I think owner there knows how to cook great. But what I didn’t like it was the PRICE. In Kyoto, there are restaurants that don’t put price on the menu and this place was so. Just 10 small plates with 3 people and several drinks cost over ¥20,000??? This is rediculous. Did he charged us higher than usual because we looked tourists? Or this is the price for newbies? Anyway Price wasn’t relevant to what we ate. I was very uncomfortable with the price because it was right after we enjoyed the meal that we knew how much it was. I don’t think I’ll visit here again. Good food, but too pricy for the meal.
