One of my favorite hotels in Kyoto. This is my second time staying and we are here for 10 days. The rooms have a European influence but for the price that can be overlooked. This time many more of the staff members can speak English and there was even a pop-up shop on the main level today. It is a great place to stay while discovering the nearby Nishiki market. There is a beautiful temple across the street right behind the Starbucks that is easy to miss– but don’t miss it!

Hotel location is good which is in the center most of the places we wanted to go. There are always taxis waiting outside the hotel so this saved us much time. Lobby is very classy but room is not much different than other business hotel. This place has onsen on their 13/F(can’t remember exact floor) but it will cost $ 1700+ yen for day pass. Very steep for the quality IMO. We prefer to stay somewhere else with more practical facilities if we are in Kyoto in the future.
